Youth & Aftercare Advocate

Full-Time, Salaried-Exempt

This position is responsible for building positive relationships with youth guests and assisting them towards ending their homelessness.  Initial contact is through youth accessing the Y.E.S. Shelter, followed by assessing and determining those interested and ready to enter a program.   The advocate continues to work with the youth through their journey to help ensure continued success and complete independence.  Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or Human Services or equivalent years’ experience in a related position, and have one year of experience working with at-risk youth.  Experience in youth ministry is a plus.
