Director of Facilities

This position is responsible for overseeing, guiding, and directing the maintenance and repairs of all facilities and equipment, supervising remodeling and construction projects, and maintaining grounds.



Job Duties

  • Manage construction and remodeling projects including obtaining bids, meeting completion timelines and specifications, and adhering to established budget
  • Determine specification requirements for equipment purchases and obtain quotes
  • Oversee, direct, and guide maintenance of all buildings and equipment including HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, and security systems
  • Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety of all facilities and grounds
  • Utilize computer software systems to receive and share information
  • Ensure all work orders are completed correctly, timely, and with high quality standards and in an accurate manner

Skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance with at least 2 of these in supervision
  • Demonstrated knowledge of general construction codes, ability to read blue prints, basic equipment operation of major systems


Working Conditions

  • Regular standing, walking, climbing, crouching, bending, pushing, or pulling
  • Understand, speak, read, and write fluent English
  • Required to talk and  hear
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to use fine motor hand functions
  • Frequently exposed to varying temperatures from below 32 degrees to above 80 degrees
