Recovery Assistant

This position is responsible for assisting Recovery Program Guests with their daily program requirements.

Job Duties

  • Accompany recovery guests to meetings at outside agencies
  • Connect guests to community resources needed to overcome identified barriers
  • Learn and become functional in the case management software and utilize it on a daily basis to receive and share information
  • Communicate regularly with the Program Supervisors and other advocate staff regarding guests
  • Review and enforce MTM policies and program guidelines with guests
  • Share knowledge of addiction to foster recovery and healing
  • Work with guests through the 12 Steps of Recovery

  • Knowledge of substance abuse treatment gained either through work experience or life experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Must possess a current and valid drivers license

Working Conditions

  • Regular standing, walking, climbing, crouching, bending, pushing, or pulling
  • Understand, speak, read, and write fluent English
  • Required to talk and  hear
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to use fine motor hand functions
