The Fifth Third Financial Empowerment Mobile (eBus) is coming to West Michigan for a Financial Empowerment and Homeownership tour July 1 – July 19. The eBus will partner with community organizations that provide financial education, homeownership counseling and credit counseling services to empower our community members.

SMG-managed Van Andel Arena and 94.5 NASH FM will host Ty, Kelly and Chuck’s “Rally Around Radley Diaper Drive” in support of Pathway Home, a collaboration of Mel Trotter Ministries and Family Promise of Grand Rapids.

Mel Trotter Ministries recently opened a transitional house for women who are experiencing homelessness. The MTM “Melanie House” was established to provide additional housing opportunities for women who have gone through a program at the Mel Trotter Ministries downtown shelter but still face challenging barriers to having a home of their own.

Through a special Christmas store organized by Heartside neighborhood missions, the neighbors have an opportunity to purchase gifts for their family at a low cost and in a dignified manner.
