Made by Next Step of West Michigan, this DIY Log House Bird Feeder Kit is a result of our efforts to create entry-level manufacturing jobs for disadvantaged members of our community and minimize the waste generated by our production facility.
The final product is a green, ethical and creative activity pack for children of all ages. The kit includes:
- A colorful and attractive label on the box
- A story sheet that tells how this product came to be
- Four coloring sheets illustrated by a published Grand Rapids children’s book author/illustrator
- Two post cards for children to color and send to friends/family
- The easy-assembly parts to build the Bird Feeder (no glue or nails, string only)
- All print materials on high quality recycled paper stock
