Daniel’s Story
After a schizophrenic episode left him in jail with possible felony charges, Daniel also lost his apartment, leaving him alone with no place to go.
Struggling to live on his own due to his mental health, Daniel found Mel Trotter Ministries and began the Fixed Income Track where he met with a case manager that helped him learn how to budget and develop a saving plan while searching for permanent housing. When he arrived, Daniel’s case manager encouraged him to attend chapel services, and he did so faithfully. Daniel gave his life to God and accepted Jesus as his savior. After each service, he came up to the altar and the staff prayed over him, inviting the Lord into his life and situation, and asking for His guidance.
Shortly after that, Daniel met one-on-one with his case manager and shared that he attended his court date, and his case was completely thrown out by the court – no charges and no fines. “I know God did that,” Daniel exclaimed.
He said, “I am looking forward to building up my savings to qualify for transitional housing.” Thanks to your support, Daniel feels hopeful for his future.
