Bert Elliott, Mel Trotter Ministries' Vice President of Development, provides direction and oversight to all Mel Trotter Ministries giving. 3. Does Mel Trotter Ministries receive any government funding?

No, Mel Trotter Ministries funding is all private.  52% from individuals, 32% from business, and 16% from foundations and churches.

 

4. How much money does Mel Trotter Ministries need to raise each year?

The annual fund goal for the 2014-2015 year is just over $5.4 million. Thrift stores and car sales goal for the 2014-2015 is just over $2 million.

No, as of November 2013 Mel Trotter Ministries is debt free.  It is our hope and prayer that we remain this way.

84% towards programs, 10% towards development and 6% Administration.
