Transforming Lives with Community Resources
Demonstrating the compassion of Christ and working to end homelessness.
We believe everyone is made in the image of a God who has plans for their life—plans that do not include lifelong homelessness—therefore we seek to demonstrate the compassion of Jesus and build better communities. Every individual deserves to be shown dignity, be reminded they have inherent value, and live a life free from homelessness.

Enjoy a round of golf and help support housing and jobs for guests at Mel Trotter Ministries. MTM’s workforce development services give guests the opportunity to learn technical and soft skills needed to get a job and keep it. MTM also owns and operates several transitional housing locations to assist guests on their journey out of homelessness. By golfing in our annual outing, you will help guests accomplish new steps in their journeys.
Transforming Lives
“Without MTM, I don’t know where I would be, but definitely not in the great position I am now socially, economically, spiritually, and physically,” said Sidney. “There isn’t anything they fall short of in meeting guests’ needs.”
Sidney
Sidney once had it all— a successful flooring business, a six-figure salary, a home in a gated community, a beautiful wife. He lost everything, however, when a serious injury sidelined him for two years and started him on a path to nowhere.
